Store Locator: help your customers find your stores

Turn online searches into store visits. Highstreet.io’s Store Locator puts an interactive map of your stores on your site — with search, geolocation and real-time opening hours — powered by store data kept continuously in sync with Google Business Profile, Meta or your own files.

What the Highstreet.io Store Locator is

The Store Locator is the module that embeds an interactive map of your stores into your website, letting customers find the nearest location in seconds — with address, contact details and opening hours. It’s the bridge between online search and in-store purchase: people who find you online land at the right physical store.

Unlike a generic widget, the Highstreet.io Store Locator is connected to the platform that already manages your local data: your stores stay up to date automatically, with no manual maintenance — and it’s already part of the suite, with no need for a dedicated vendor.

How the Store Locator works: the features

Text search

Customers find stores by typing a city, address or boutique name. On selection, the map centers on the chosen area and the results list updates with the nearest stores.

User geolocation

With one click, and with the user’s permission, the Store Locator detects the user’s position (GPS or IP address), moves the map and orders the results starting from the nearest store.

Interactive map with clustering

Stores are shown on an interactive map. To handle large networks — 500+ stores — nearby pins are grouped into numbered clusters: zooming out merges the pins, zooming in or clicking a cluster reveals the individual stores. No visual clutter, even across extensive networks.

Distance-ordered results list

A side panel (or bottom panel on mobile) lists stores by increasing distance from the search point or the user’s location, with a preview of the key details (name, address) for each store within range.

Real-time operating status

Each store shows current opening days and hours, so customers know whether a location is open before they set off.

Configurable filters

Users can narrow the search by store category (e.g. Boutique, Multi-Brand, Authorized Reseller) or by available product line. The filter set is configurable and expanding with new dynamic filters.

Full store card

Every store has a dedicated card with all contact and operational details, presented in a dedicated detail panel (overlay) with up-to-date daily hours.

Responsive: desktop, tablet and mobile

The experience is optimized for every device, with a layout that adapts the map, search and results list to desktop, tablet and smartphone.

Your store data, always in sync

This is where the Highstreet.io Store Locator differs from a standalone widget. Store data isn’t maintained by hand — it’s connected and synchronized.

Import from Google Business Profile, Meta or a file.Stores are imported by connecting Google Business Profile (GMB), Facebook (Meta) or via a file (e.g. a CSV of store data).

Automatic updates. Every change — a new store, a closure, updated hours or contacts — made in the publisher (GMB, Meta, etc...) or in the import file is picked up automatically by the Store Locator.

Enrichment from the Highstreet.io console. You can edit or enrich store information directly from the console, or with an enrichment file.

Two-way synchronization. Changes made in Highstreet.io can be synced back to Google Business Profile, Meta or other store management systems: a single source of truth for your store data.

White-label: your brand, not ours

The Store Locator is designed to be white-label: we can customize the interface — pin, styling, components — so it matches your site’s visual identity, without altering the module’s core code.

Why a store locator matters for your business

For a brand or retailer with multiple locations, an effective store locator:

Drives foot traffic, capturing users at the moment they’re looking for where to buy in person;

Reduces friction: customers find the right store in seconds, with no call or email;

Improves the omnichannel experience, connecting your online presence and physical network coherently;

Adds value to your distribution network, including resellers and multi-brand stores, making them findable by end customers.

When you need a store locator (and who it’s for)

A store locator becomes essential when your physical network grows and it’s no longer obvious to customers where to buy in person. It’s particularly suited to:

Brands with a store network, owned or franchised, that want to drive traffic into their locations;

Manufacturers and brands selling through resellers and multi-brand stores, who want to make them easy for end customers to find;

Omnichannel retailers that want to connect online search and in-store purchase coherently;

Large networks (dozens or hundreds of locations), where a simple “where we are” page is no longer enough to guide customers.

If the goal is to turn online interest into real visits, the store locator is the touchpoint that closes that gap — provided the store data is always accurate and up to date.

Already in the suite: one less vendor

With Highstreet.io the Store Locator isn’t a separate tool to buy, integrate and sync on its own: it’s a module of the suite you already use to manage your feeds and local data.
That means no extra subscription to a third-party vendor, no new integration to maintain, and no mismatch between the locator’s data and the data that powers your Google Business Profile, Meta and local campaigns.

One platform, one point of contact, one source of truth for your stores.
